Don't say anything about shooting them with silver bullets because that won't work it's just a myth. K so try to think about this logically and don't think that i'm crazy because i'm not. I'm serious.

wolves-bane might be a good idea. but there ought to be some hunter around were you live that deal with that kind of ****, but if not, then you got a problem.... is it just one? if so, you could have walked into their territory, if its a pack, you better get some help. FAST. true, the silver bullets wont kill, but it does burn... erhhmm.. yep.. it burns like hell.... n e ways.. i don't approve of random killing, so let me try and think.. if you have someone who knows magic, (i have a friend) they can put a simple binding spell on them. either way i wouldn't recommend trying to face them without help...

but yeah, if you can get a hold of some wolves-bane that would be helpful... that stuff is lethal i swear.... *cringes*

If you are being serious, I've seen basically four kinds of werewolf types in assorted places over the years. The when, where or why they change is irrelevant.

I personally don't think any but the first and third exist, but that's another issue.

The first is just a genetic problem causing massive body hair. Unless the guy has other problems, he's harmless.

The second is the classic werewolf. Silver and fire take these down. One caveat is that some legends say this has to be *inherited* silver. Something about needing to have an edge of sacrifice.

The third (and arguably most dangerous) is a person suffering from clinical lycanthropy. This is a normal person who has a mental problem making him think he's a werewolf (or other animal). Very, VERY dangerous, but can be dealt with as you would a normal, albeit, crazy person.

The last is a person who turns into a big wolf. The are basically animals with the mind of a human. Anything that could take down the animal would take these down.

Assuming the second or fourth, home safety would be living high (apartment), barred windows and a reinforced door.

When outside remember that these have the shape and senses of animals. Stick with people, especially crowds, whenever possible. Smart beasts will stay clear and the crowd will panic if they see a wolf, giving you some warning.

Also, carry (and wear) some form of wolf repellant. I think most hunting or camping store would have it. You'll stink, but you should be fine.

It would have been nice to have more details, like how far they are following you from (keeping their distance, or actually pursuing you). Or what they look like, that would be nice, since from what I can tell there are several creatures and beings that can be called werewolves and they are all pretty different.

My advice? Get help. No, not a therapist! Pick a deity or a religious figure. Pray or ask for help directly. Not trying to be religious about this, but for people who don't know what to do by themselves it's a good first step, and regardless of what you believe in you can actually get help from the relevant spirits and deity/deities.

If you don't have a religion or would like to skip this step, please press 5.

But really? There's not much you can do directly except to lock your house well at night, and to turn on the alarm sot hat you'll know if something came in.

-------
And maybe you are insane, or lying, but I've seen stranger (and related) things, so I'm in no position to judge. I know better by now.

Think about what logically?, there are no werewolfs, If you look like that, and you dress like that, its probably some weirdo that wants to make it with you!. Wake up Princess,
The year is 2007, all those things you have seen and read about werewolfs, aren't true. tell them to come and see me, and I will take care of it.
if you have told someone you know about this, he is probably pulling a crank on you. If you are that scared, go to the police explain to them in a nice way and tell them to check it out, I am sure they are going to help you.
EDIT- the word mythological, means myth, story, not real!.

you should read this one fictional series....the first book is twilight and its by stephanie meyer....while it is a fictional series i find it very compelling in the way that it brings mythological creatures to life in the present day. im not sure what exactly to do about your little problem.....but for starters why do you think that werewolves are following you? all i know is that the weak fall for their prey....so be strong!

According to legend a werewolf can be killed with any base metal like iron, lead, silver, gold, etc... So they can be killed and you can be made safe... So you are not as helpless as you may believe.... But penetrating their skin can be a hard tasks to take on.. So any high velocity round made of metal can do the trick..............................................
