I'm totally for it.
Lots of women lie to try to keep an old boyfriend. Make a doctor do a check up for sure. And then make sure the DNA matches. That'd fix most of the answers. As to whether you are pregnant and by him (thus trapping him.)
If you can get an abortion, that would best as a pregnancy would mess you up for the rest of your life.
Any "mourning" about the fetus can be handled by any competent counselor.
Other thoughts: Some people don't believe a child has a soul until it draws its first breath (religious matter). Some because a child's right to live when we can remove it and keep it alive without being crippled by it (secular matter).
I remember illegal backyard abortions where 2 people - 2 people = 0 people alive. Legal abortions were where 2 people - 1 kid = 1 woman alive. (It's a math thing.)
And to that - how many kids ALREAY BORN deserve parents? But parents push them aside so they can have they perfect little plank slate to play with?
I just love it. (Sarcastically speaking)

I am completely against abortion flat out. We have made so many medical advances that a situation in which the life of the baby and the mother being in danger of death does not come by often. we can typically save both.
I think it is murder, there IS life once the sperm hits the egg(not to be too graphic) but that is when life begins, it has begun before the first breath, the first heart beat it is alive. and abortion is destruction of a human life. And I will never be able to see how someone can justify the termination, the destruction of a defenseless human life that never had the chance to plead their case. The most horrible murderers get to plead their case befor judgement is passed down, the baby isn't out of the womb, How can it plead its case?
How many Albert Einsteins, Da Vincis, Monets, how many great people have we lost to abortions? we can never know because they never had the chance to live their lives, not completely.
ABORTION IS MURDER

I had an abortion. It is still a very hard thing to deal with. Everyday I wake up thinking I should have two babies. It was easier for me to have an abortion than grow attached to someone I knew I could not take care of. It is a difficult personal choice. You should support your friend with either decision.

Well speaking from experience, as much as it hurts most days i really think i made the right decision. My guy that i that it happened with wasnt committed or didnt love me. I wasnt in the best financial state. Your best friend has a choice to make for herself. Is she ready financially? Will she have support? You can get through it. I will make her a stronger person. that little soul that she would give up, will return under better circumstances.

Abortion is a very sensitive topic. I am so on the fence on this subject. I feel that if it is a unwanted pregnancy due to rape or molestation that it should be the mother's decision. However, if a mother is just spreading her legs without precaution to prevent pregnancy I do not think that abortion should be used as a method of birth control. There are plenty of good parents out there that are willing to care for children because they cannot have kids of thier own and I do not think a life should be taken because you decided that you did not want to protect yourself before hand.

i think abortion is terrible. having a baby may seem scary and your friend might be afraid she'll be scavenging for money for the rest of her life, but its not right. it wasnt the babys fault what happened, so why are u taking its life away? why not give it up for adoption? look, you could be killing the next Martin Luther King! if your friend is young or single, then the best thing to do is to give up for adoption. anyways think about taking the baby out piece by piece. cuz thats how abortion is done. please talk 2 ur friend, becuz like it or not she is taking away a life.

Abortion is murder plain and simple. I would NEVER get one. That said - if your friend does make that decision, don't abandon her, even if you are against the abortion. She will be grieving the loss of her child, and need support. Not support for what she has done, but love of friends.

If you're responsible enough to have sex, then you should be responsible enough to deal with the consequences if you weren't 100% safe about things, (aka abstinence)
I, myself, am a young mother. I wouldn't trade my little girl for anything in the world. I had many friends encourage me to get an abortion. To be honest with you, my daughter is the light of my husband and mine's life.

My opinion is that abortion is wrong, why kill a life so you can have a life you want. You could always give the baby up for adoption. If you are mature enough to have sex you should be mature enough to deal with the consequences.

Why did you have to ask this?
I think it is your body you have every right to do what you want with it. If you want an abortion, then thats your friends business.
