One thing I've learnt over the years is how to be a functional drunk. I'll tell ya it's not easy. But i am, so far, living proof that it can be done. If you can't pass your road test while technically drunk like i did or if you go to court to plead not guilty for impaired and don't remember going through the metal detector at the main door. And all with a certain amount of grace and charm i might add. At least 35 yrs and have never went to jail once for anything. So far so good and its so damn routine now. I call it coming to terms with your addiction.

I wish I was! It must be just you.
I had to go on a diet nearly 3 years ago so I could have a hip replacement, then, last month they said yes I had lost enough weight to have the operation so now stop smoking, I did that and am now 29 days smoke free, then they rang me a fortnight ago to say don't drink cos they are going to do my knee at the same time, very difficult and I have to build more blood in my system and drinking dehydrates you!
It would have been so much easier and cheaper if they had just shot me and put me out of my misery! lol:))

No wayyyyyyyyyyy am i drunk.I only need a pint of lager shandy and i'm pi33ed,pmsl.I just stick to a pack of wine gums now they just make me a little bit dizzy but i can still stand up,lol.x
