That's because the truck drivers are usually from poor families and they buy their trucks from their hard earned money which makes it a real big deal for them.They get emotionally attached to their new vehicle,therefore treating it like a newly wedded wife.

The trucks are extremmly decorative as indians are colourful bunch of people and have a rich variety of colour in every aspect of life Eg: Rajasthan so why should trucks be any different ?

It's in their culture. And that's a big plus. I love decorative art. If you don't like indian cars simply don't buy it. Afterall we all have a choice.

well those are real truckers enjoying their work i guess. the same way i have seen trucks hooked up with lights and all here in US

Because its the only way to pass inspections, if they just used one color they would fail because the body rust would be more visible
