Princess Leia's romance with Han Solo is a model of understatement that even "Bogie" in "Casa Blanca" would appreciate.
In "The Empire Strikes Back," although Leia is constantly arguing with Han, while the Millennium Falcon is hiding in the mouth of a space slug, they steal a kiss. Then when Han is a test subject for Lando Cairissian's carbon freezing chamber, Leia confesses her love for him. In "The Return of the Jedi" when Leia is shot in the arm, Han, in turn, admits his love for her whereupon she replies, "I know," echoing his last two words before being encased in carbonite.

During the course of the movies, she never technically dated anyone, though she and Han Solo did do a bit of snogging while on the run from the Empire. Afterwards (according to the Extended Universe), she did eventually marry Solo.

Leia was flirting with Solo alright, but it was the Wookie who really rang her bell after the sun went down.
