This depends on the make and manufacturer - unfortunately, our super-competitive consumer electronics brands never got together and devised a standard for this.
Usually the Euro is on the number "4" key at the right. To use it, you use the "Alt Gr" key to the right of the space bar. If this produces a thin 0ff-centre vertical bar instead of a Euro, you've either got the wrong country setting for your keyboard (which can be changed in Windows Control Panel) or it's another key.

It was added quite a while ago to the UK keyboard character set but of course there were no keys left. On mine, it is on the 4 key and Ctrl Alt 4 works to get it.

not sure, but my 2 key is broken, so I just highlight a 2 on screen somewhere, right click, copy...then I can right click and paste it where I need it. You could do the same with a Euro sign.

ALT 0128 or €
To use the ALT codes on a desktop turn on numeric lock hold alt and use the keypad.
To use the ALT codes on a laptop hold fn and alt and use the keypad overlay.
