why rock music rules!!?

Rock amazingly rules because it is the most meaningful out of ALL music genre's. It speaks to us about exactly what we want to hear such as depression, bullying, love, pointless things that still sound good, and a bunch of other different topics. Some amazing rock bands are KoRn, Black sabbath, kiss, alice in chains, nirvana, metallica, and system of a down. Rock is also the best type of music most bands have the amazing talents of knowing how to play their instruments the best and singing extremely well. Before I end this topic let me just point a few things out to some people who have said some stuff.
1. Rock and country are two different things. So for those who say rock and country are the same thing you are 100% wrong go listen to red neck woman and some black sabbath and you will notice they are so different.
2. No I dont really like rap mostly because of their lyrics. And No Im not white or racist because I dont like it. (Im spanish).
3. If you disagree tell me in a nice way.

You are no Black Sabbath fan otherwise you would know they recorded many country and blues sounding songs. Scratch this one out.

If the only rap I listened to was the crap they played on the radio I wouldnt like it either. Try getting some underground rap, its the equilivent of underground rock - much better.

And there are many different genres of "rock" I will listen to metalcore and industrial but I refuse to listen to emo or alternative. I will listen to rap but refuse to listen to hip-hop (rap is real life issues such as 2Pac and Bone Thugs while hip-hop is the dance crap you hear in clubs - "cause I lean like a cholo")

Plus your lumping bands like Korn (nu metal) Alice In Chains (Grunge) Metallica (thrash) and KISS (classic rock) into the same category, and no, they definetally are not the same at all.

Ha, rock and country are totally opposite. I agree whole-heartedly to that one. And I, too, don't like rap because i can't understand a word they are saying (I dislike screamo for the same reason).

i totally agree with you!! love all those bands!! rock musicians are clearly the most talented...and certain sub-genres of rock are some of the hardest types of music to play. rock on!

omg i agree w/ u in so many ways!!!!!!! how the hell could ppl think country is like rock? lol. i hate country but luv rock!!!!!!! the bands u listed r so many of my favorites!! so, yea. thats about all i have to say lol.

rock helps me release anger or any other feelings..
my personal favorite bands are AFI, In Flames, Soasin, and i love oldies too (queen, ac/dc, etc.)
