= 27 - 13 (u - 6) = 54 - (4u - 24)
= 27 - 13u + 78 = 54 +24 - 4u
= 105 - 13u = 78 - 4u
= 105 - 78 = 13u - 4u
= 27 = 9u

First solve the brackets on both sides. bearing in mind – (minus) side outside the bracket.
27–13u + 78 = 54 – 4u + 24
105 –13u = 78 – 4u
