it has snowed here in some years past, so if your not used to the cold, bring a coat. it can get windy also. in the past couple of years, the fireworks shows on the strip has been almost postponed because of wind gusts up to 30 mph. best to check the forecast before you leave to get a more accurate temp for the week, but then again, when have the weather people been correct?

Las vegas has dry heat, and during the winter usually its in the 70s down there and a little cooler at night, but there will be a lot of people. Also remember that if you are going to be in doors it will be a good temp. remember to wear good walking shoes! Take the tram as easy travel, and hop on the express $2 bus to down town or to the strip. Have fun!!

if you're drinking... it won't be so cold. a light jacket should do since you can always walk in a hotel to warm up and you'll be walking a lot. last year i just wore a shirt w/ a light track jacket and a pair of jeans and i was fine.

If your staying in the hotel you will be ok, but once you go outside you will need a jacket. Also think good shoes for walking.
Have fun,
Julie
