Randy Gradishar played for the Denver Broncos. He is a 7 time Pro Bowler, named the 1978 Defensive Player of the Year. He had over 2,000 tackles and 20 interceptions returning 4 for touchdowns. He recovered 13 fumbles and returned one for a touchdown. Should he be in the Hall of Fame?

Also, some people say that the HOF hates the Denver Broncos. Why is that? I am not a Broncos fan but I am just curious

Yes he should be along with a couple other Broncos. People always count the Broncos out even though they almost always make it to the playoffs, draft good players, have an excellent, reliable coaching staff. I think it may be because of the 3 lost super bowls in the 80's and a lot of people seem to discount the back-to-back super bowl wins in '97 and '98.I fully expect them to have an excellent year this year as Jay Cutler gains more experience. He has a rocket arm like Elway.

A lifelong (45+ years) Denver fan. Of all of the Broncos left out of the HOF, Gradishar is the most deserving. I think Floyd Little and Steve Atwater also belong in the HOF. I think we'll see a few more Broncos make the HOF in the coming years. Terrell Davis is coming up next year and I think Gary Zimmerman will get in eventually also.

Gradishar was the reason I played linebacker in high school.

I agree the stats suggest he should be there. Most fans of the Broncos in the Red Miller/Dan Reeves years will also say he should be there (I would fall in this category).

Problem is, Gradishar was never a true star in the NFL. Always came across as a nice guy, but never had that thing to get the attention of fans outside Denver to the degree of, say Mike Singletary or Lawrence Taylor.

Also, had the Broncos won Super Bowl XII, that would also have been a huge push to get him in the hall.

That being said, one day I think Randy will join his team mates like Tom Jackson in Canton. Might be sometime, mind you, but he will get there.

Like Gene Hickerson, he will be waiting YEARS to finally get his due. Add Jerry Kramer and Gary Collins to that list.

Shouldn't even be a question, of course he should be.
