I fully agree with you that it is a bold move. If he succeeds in his responsibility, he can be successor to Rahul Dravid when he retires.

No. he's taken under consideration one of the wonderful. earlier Dhoni, Kapil had gained the two the ODI cup and WSC sequence. Wadekar broke the ice by potential of prevailing the sequence in 1971 interior the WI and England. in evaluation to Wadekar, who had no predecessors to look upon, Dhoni is fortunate. Dhoni inherited a set that replaced into properly molded by potential of his predecessors - Ganguly - he instilled the killer instinct interior the gang; Dravid - he maintained the pace and yet for the 2007 early go out from WC he could have persevered as captain(using Vengsarkar's politics); Kumble performed the famour victory in Perth in 2008 and diplomatically dealt with the explosive disaster after the Sydney fiasco(using Steve and Mark); Dhoni had an rather coach who remained at the back of the scene; and a life like group of Selectors who gave him the gang he required and laid down the coverage and left its implementation to Gary and Dhoni. So Dhoni is taken under consideration one of the wonderful captains of India and nonetheless an prolonged thank you to circulate to be labeled as "the wonderful".

I don't think this is a very good move. Yes, his gamestyle fits 20-20 format but he is still young and doesn't have a lot of experience as a player as well as a captain. Since, he is the captain now he has to handle captaincy, batting as well as wicketkeeping. So, he is going to have a trident pressure. Maybe Sehwag would be a better choice as he is experienced as a batsman, captain and is also aggressive.

ur RETARDED if u think its gonna work out. He's lucky they put Yujrav as the vice capt. in my opinion it should've been the other way around. Yujrav is way more competent as a capt. But the best choice would probably have been sehwag, u kno?
