"Fair Weather Friends" are what are called "Hanger's on" ... "Money Grubbers" ... or ... in my case ... Ex-Spouse!

They are only there while you are handing out the money or sponsoring their 'good times' ... after you put your foot down and say "NO MORE!" they are off like a rocket and treat you like you do NOT exist (at best) and as someone with contagious, deadly disease (or verbally abuse you) most other times.
