Kids die every day. Just take a walk around Dafur, The former czechoslovakia, the Appalachian mountains.
Not to sound callous, but why should these four students be anymore important than the 1,000 other children who die every day of famine, war, poverty, disease or act of God?
Life is life, no matter if it's clothed in designer cloth or rags so decayed they resemble nothing more than a whisper.

Random violence is a product of the culture we have created. Not that there hasn't always been random violence, but it seems more and more that today we glorify it through music and movies. As a society we, though political correctness, are required to embrace the very things that bring about this violence. Then we are appalled when it happens. It's no different than throwing a brick into the air and acting surprised when it hits us on the head as it falls. It's only going to get worse and it isn't the world that has to notice, it's mom and dad - and all too often, they don't care.

Just a sign of the times. I really do not take note of those things. Sorry if I sound bad but the days are getting worse and worse and no one can do a thing about it. The end is coming my friend. What about the bridge collapse or the airliner crash or even the mine collapse? I choose not to spend time on such and continue to keep striving for my heavenly home. I also desire to see others saved so they do not spend eternity in Hell. Pray for my family.

The real question is, why do kids have to die in America for AMERICANS to take notice. There are situations around the world just as horrendous, if not moreso, than what happens in our own country. When was the last time you saw anything on Fox News about the children dying as well as killing in Darfur? And that's just one example.

You know this story is really sad. My prayers go out to the families. Its sickening that these kids were going to do something for themselves and better their lives, and maybe get themselves out of that bad neighborhood, but are now dead. I am from Michigan and in Detroit people get shot all of the time. You begin to become desensitized, because if you dwelled on everyone that was murdered you would go crazy.

WOW, David's response begs the Question why should we care when Senseless people like himself or his LOVED ones die...Hmmm, Lord did you hear what David said, he doesn't care...Perhaps David the Prayers that have gone up to the Lord to provide you what you have been given will be TAKEN away...
Perhaps by the end of the Day your Loved ones will be TAKEN from you???? The Bible tells us that in the Last Days peoples Hearts will grow Cold, as per seen by Davids response....
I pray the Lord will Bless those who are His and give Compassion and Love to those who are hurting today because of the Losses they have endured. Lord Be with each and every one of them and Lord, Awaken the Souls of those who have become hardened, Convict their Souls and Change them through your Great Power and Glory I pray and ask in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen......
David, I lost a brother a little over a year ago, I'm still greiving because he was a Good Person who was there for EVERYONE, he didn't have much but what he had he gave with a Good Heart......Whatever has caused you to be soooo hateful, I rebuke ANY and ALL power that Hate has in YOUR Life in the Name oF Jesus Christ, I BIND the enemy satan over YOUR Life David and I pray that You will become a New Person for the Glory of God, in Jesus Name I ask this, Amen...

It's human nature to care more about people with whom we can identify. That's why any number of casualties over, say, 12 starts to just blur in our heads as "a lot." Since almost all of us can remember being kids, or think losing our children or grandchildren would be the worst thing in the world, we notice more when innocents are killed.

Haven't heard a thing about it!
What were they doing just prior to being shot?
Were they smoking crack or on their way to choir practice?
If it was execution style, as you said, I'm guessing it wasn't in a library working on a term paper.
But...I could be wrong!

Are you angry no one will care or notice when you die. Whats going on ??? What do you think. Our society revolves on greed. We are crowded and tired. Lied to by our administration and corporate. And on and on..... God I just want to kill someone.
