A good and inexpensive hotel in the heart of the Strip is the Imperial Palace. I was just there and was a little skeptical after some reviews but I had a clean room overlooking the pool for $55 a night. Sure, you may have to take the stairs every now and then but they are across from Cesars, right next door to Harrahs and the Flamingo. Its not the newest place or doesn't have a volcanoe or tigers on the property but it was nice for a few days. Plus the Deuce bus stops right out front too, making it easy to get downtown or to any of the other strip hotels. I have stayed at the Stratosphere and its also clean and cheap but the location is horrible, unless you like crack dealers and whores of course. I really enjoyed the IP. There pool is nothing fancy but on hot days (which is everyday in Las Vegas) it is packed and you have some great views. Have fun in Las Vegas!! I would check the Imperial Palace website for direct pricing and deals they usually are running.

Here is the deal, keep checking on hotels all the time, the prices change all the time and when you book a hotel, make sure that there is no cancel fee, why? because you might find a better deal at the same hotel and if you call and talk to them, they will 99% of the time give you that promo price. Also signup for player's cards online at some of the hotels and they will send you member deals through the email account. Keep checking around! The more research you do, the more you will save. check different web sites and also the hotel web sites themselves. Good LUCK!!!

What's up!?!?! I will be in Vegas next month for the VMA's and there is a Motel 6 like 2 miles from the Palms. They have another location in that area as well, so go to their website to get rates. 3 nights for right at $200. You said cheap right? It's not all glamorous like a strip hotel, but it's clean and serves the purpose. You won't be in there that much anyway, and when you are, you're gonna be too drunk to care lol.

"for good hotel deals" >For the best deals, avoid special events, large conventions and weekends. There are two very nice bargain periods left this year.
Septmeber 3rd - 6th(4 nights)
December 9th - 28th >best rates of the year
To get a great rate for December it's best to, check rates on at least a weekly basis, you never know when they will offer a super deal. >I always check the Orleans & Gold Coast rates first<

We go to LV 2-3 times a year for 2 weeks or more at a time and have for over 20 years.

Cheap Hotels are anything that is downtown. The Golden Nugget is probably the best downtown.

On the Strip The Monte Carlo is reasonable.

the main suitable funds hotel it is lifeless middle of the strip is expenses playing hall and hotel. The rooms are wonderful and sparkling and you will walk everywhere actual from this hotel. approximately $40 a night. ward off the "north" strip resorts including Stratosphere, Sahara, Stratosphere, Circus Circus and the Riviera. they are merely too some distance of a walk and the section is incredibly undesirable. For a women holiday those are a diverse no. additionally the Flamingo and Harrahs are interior the middle and that they are on the extra much low-priced element. the middle of the strip is the main suitable place to stay with the liveliest section. additionally ward off Imperial Palace in any respect expenses. You should check kayak.com ...they usually can find you a good rate, better than expedia.

I would also check tripadvisor.com and look at what people said about the hotel you're going to, just so you don't make a mistake!
