Seems like people easily get lost in the norm. I always make a point to try to bring new things to the table in a relationship. A little laughter, a little romance, a little passion goes a long way. Try not to get stuck in the day to day life and have nothing more to talk about than what happened at the office today. Make yourself more interesting by constantly learning and trying new things. Be spontaneous and caring and let him know you want him and only him! As I've said so many times before..... Talent is a flame..... genius is a fire!

Perhaps he should have chosen different words. You can turn that lemon he threw at you into lemonade. Let him bring home the wine and you can include that with a nice dinner that you plan. Don't forget, It takes two to tango.

The "loosen you up part" wasn't to wise, but at least he's not beating around the bush (no pun intended), not yet anyway....LOL

at least he is your husband... and not your boyfriend.

if you want the romance back...then fight for it. when he gets home with that big bottle of wine, have all of the lights off, and candles lit.

if you want it back, then you have to raise it from the 'dead'. and only you can do that.

good luck! lol

ahaha. Romance comes and goes. Sometimes there are high points and low points to a relationship. The wine thing may indicate a bottom. But with patience things may improve again.

I would have thought that was quite romantic, Romance is dead, when he brings home Bulbs to plant in the garden for you birthday, instead of a bunch of flowers.

Oh...I'm doing my best to control myself here. Well, just make the best of it and hope that one day he can see past the norm of life and he will find a whole new woman at home...I'm sure he would to, if he tried.

When you say or respond to his anything else less, then you are sending the message that you are okay with less. Guys get lazier or begin to get comfortable were they are and tend to focus on their needs and less about ours. This is when we have to remind them, HELLO, we are not cool with this...we still exist....and we tell them that by saying I want dinner with that wine...Glad you can laugh about this.
