Usually, the first movements of the baby are like little flutterings or tiny bubbles popping in your abdomen, and yes some mothers feel them as early as 16 weeks although if this is your first baby the average is more like 20 weeks.\

Experiencing pain in the tailbone (the condition is called Coccygea) is common in pregnancy, as are all kinds of back pain.

In pregnancy, the increase in size of the uterus will stretch and pull on the ligaments that go from the cervix to the tailbone. Then, the weakness of the coccyx comes into play and can cause intermittent tenderness. This pain is nothing to worry about and definitely won't interfere with your delivery.

You can try tylenol or warm compresses or heating pads to relieve the pain.

Im not sure what the pain in your tailbone could be, I never had that when I was 16 weeks. If it is very painful you can take some tylenol regular, I take them when I have migraines and its about one of the only things you are allowed to take.

You probable are feeling your baby move congrats!! To me it felt like my stomach was grumbeling but it wasnt it was the baby moving around so I think that you are probable feeling your baby move. I first felt my baby move when I was around 18 weeks and I remember how excited I was.

27 weeks with first :]

It is your hips turning and your pelvis dropping. At about 16 weeks you will start to feel the baby. Its not much but its probally doing summersalts. Everything is normal. You should get the book" What to expect when your expecting" it details the 9 months of pregnancy week by week.

You could be feeling your baby move, this is called quickening. I am only 9 weeks pregnant but I cant wait to feel my baby move! only about 7 more weeks until i can feel him/her move! that pain could be your sciatic nerve. A lot of women have that pain when they are pregnant. Ask your doctor what you can do to help it ok? good luck and god bless!

sounds like your body is stretching and growing to accomodate the baby! it only gets worse, i hate to say...but just remember it is for the best reason! make sure to stay active and stretch....sitting for long periods of time or being on your feet for long periods of time will only make things ache!

also, when i felt the baby move for the first time in felt like a twitch that you get in your eye...it was so little i had to really focus on it and then it became more consistant over the next weeks...now i feel like there is a bowling ball rolling around in me she is so big :) when you feel the baby you will know...mommy's intuition :)

USUALLY THE FIRST MOVEMENTS OF THE BABY IS 18-24 WEEKS YOU MAY BE FEELING QUICKENING BUT SOON ENOUGH YOU SEE HARD STRONG MOVEMENT JUST BE PATIENT...AND PAIN IN THE TAILBONE IS COMMON ESSPECIALLY IF YOUR SITTING OR HAVE GAINED MORE WEIGHT THAN YOUR USED TOO...GOOD LUCK AND CONGRADS!
