Because you marry someone, you give their soul to them, and she gave her soul to you. You 2 are supposed to be one, joined together. Her heart goes into your hands....don't let it fall and break.

I think that it is wrong because you are in a committed relationship with one person. What you share with that one person is what makes it special and exclusive. Once you marry- you have made a spiritual and legal vow to be only with her. To share all things good and bad with her. When you cheat you allow someone else that special connection which basically crosses out what you have with your wife. It is not right to share certain things with other people... like your toothbrush, razor your wife... it's okay to have fantasies and some are just better to be left at that. Especially if either of you isn't on board with the fantasy. There is a trust issue here and once you break that by going out with another it is hard to get that back. Not to mention all the std's and possible pregnancies.... If you are married I suggest you talk about this with her. After all if you can't be honest with her who can be honest with. She is number one and bringing another into her spot is not going to fix anything.

It is wrong to cheat on your wife because it is a betrayal of her trust and love for you. The swinging lifestyle is fine.. but BOTH partners have to agree on this and be comfortable with it. You can't just be a "swinger" by yourself...

I suppose there's nothing wrong with "swinging" if you AND your wife both want to do that and be in that lifestyle. But it's wrong to put your own sexual needs ahead of her feelings and your vows if she's communicated that she doesn't want to "swing." MOST women think of marriage as a r'ship that is exclusive. If you want a marriage that is open, then you need to find a woman who believes in that kind of marriage. But it's completely unfair to marry a woman you KNOW wants a traditional, faithful marriage and you don't see it the same way.

Depends on what angle you want the answer from......From a religious standpoint, it also depends on the religion. From a moral/human standpoint, my best answer is that you MARRIED someone cuz you THOUGHT they were the best for you and vice versa. If that isnt the case, then there is something wrong with the marriage.
