Ovulation happens 10-16 days, with 14 being most common, before the start of your next period. Also, are you sure your period started Aug 9th? Today is only Aug 8th.

You can only guestimate, not know for sure EXACTLY when you ovulate. All women are different and if 5 different women start their periods on the same day, chances are each one of those women will ovulate close too but not at the exact same time. This is why most doctors consider the first day of your period as the first day of your pregnancy. Weird and confusing, right?

where are you at? Because today is just Aug. 8th where I am. But if you start on Aug. 9th you would ovulate 7-10 days after your period.

the biggest indicator of ovulation is that time of the month (between periods) when your discharge is clear but reminds you of like when you blow your nose..... all goopy like..... if you can tell when this is happening... that's the perfect time to try.... I know this post was kinda icky....but it's oh so true... you wouldn't believe how many women don't know that!
