I'm not a liberal, or conservative for that matter, but I believe George Bush handled the immediate aftermath of 9/11 with intelligence, dignity, and compassion.

First of all, people who have a serious problem with Bush are not limited to "Liberals". I'll keep repeating that until it sinks in with his defenders, and it doesn't appear as if it's going to.
Secondly, to suggest that anyone who holds political office must inherently have some positive attributes for which we should be thankful is contrived. In my view, important criteria by which to measure a president include (but are not limited to) intelligence, honesty, humility, diplomacy, work ethic, communication skills, and of course concrete and demonstrable results in terms of domestic and foreign policy. I'm of the opinion that Bush gets an F- on every front, your begrudgingly giving Clinton kudos notwithstanding. Perhaps you could point out what praise you feel Bush has earned, and explain why? That's said without irony by the way- if you feel Bush has been treated unfairly, let's hear your arguments.

I am a conservative, not always represented by the Republican party, however it is the platform that I most closely align myself with. I am not able to accept the left field as anything less than immoral, and defunct of commonsense.
I inhaled when I smoked and was a cave man in the stoned age. Yet, I am amazed how anyone especially a conservative could, or would, or should support Billie Boy, Flim-flam the cigar man, on NAFTA, Kosovo, or anything that the likes of those as Billie Boy would introduce. I am highly suspect of anyone that is begging for acceptance from an opposing party. I don't need, nor should anyone else need to hear the opposition speak mamby-pamby words, blowing sunshine up someone else's derrier for us to feel or to substantiate our individual support of any candidate.
Any man that breaks the vows of his marriage is worthless. As a husband as a leader as a president. Any lawyer that quibbles with such defensive tactics, such as, "What the definition of is, is" is pathetic and inept.
The finest qualities of Billie was not his, but it was the restriction that our constitution placed on him. He had a limit on his terms.
Both Reps and Dems have their problems and their ineptness. They are self serving, they are backboneless and thieves and robbers. They are two wings of the same bird, it is just that the left side flaps quite a bit faster, so this bird in all of its efforts just does lazy circles in the air.
America is in for a hurt. She leads in crime, she leads, in drug abuse and addiction, she leads in out of wedlock birth, her depression rate in children has gone up to pandemic levels, overall depression and mental problems have risen to 17% increase. You do the math.
The borders have been left unguarded, social security has been earmarked for dissolution, the Corporate Pirates in America, rape us financially. E.g. the gas pumps. Foreign relocations to fatten the bottom line is a slap in the face to all who love this country.
We have strangely turned from a moral society into some godless hedonistic society, and we are looking for praises for George Bush. His legacy will be judged later. Let's address the more serious issues. If we can....huh?

Ok it took me a while but here is what I came up with. He truly believes that what he is doing is right. What I wanted to say was. His term is almost over. Sorry I feel this man and his buddies have done serious damage not only to our country but others as well.

George W. Bush is the best, most honest, and most liberal president we have had since President Clinton.
President Bush is almost as honest as President Clinton.
He signed the do not call list bill, destroying over a million US jobs. But I am still glad he did.
