I have days like that when I think 'god I am ugly, god I am fat, god I am useless....' It doesn't help that all my sisters are really pretty and slim and I feel like a total blimp next to them.

But some people are right, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I bet you have loads of things that make you beautiful in other peoples eyes. You can't change the way you look - unless you are prepared to go under the knife. But if you are a good person you'll have more friends and a more fulfilling life than other people.

Look in the mirror and pick out your best features and concentrate on those. I think I have good arms and great breasts and dress to accentuate those. You are probably nowhere near as bad as you think.

I've "met" one young lady (through her cousin's descriptions only) that thought she was ugly until she pounded on three or four heavy layers of make-up, after which, she thought she was "attractive."

My friend was of a slightly differing opinion - she was more than attractive, she was very good looking!

A few weeks before her wedding a couple years back, he happened to be at her place when she was "naked" (no make-up, and; to her point of view, ugly). She was, at that point, the most gorgeous woman he'd ever laid eyes on!

Long and the Short of it is this: You are only ugly if *you* beleive you are ugly. You probably just need to work on your self confidence, and become comfortable with yourself. I personally know one woman in her mid 20's who *is* borderline ugly, but always has a boyfriend, because she is comfortable with who she is, enjoys life, and is enthusiastic about things she likes, and open minded about things she doesn't. She is also very intelligent, and well-read, so she can hold-up her end of almost any conversation.

I don't know, I look in the mirror and think I am so plain. I am not eye catching in any way good or bad! I bet you're not ugly at all.

No. I guess we are always not happy with our look. That's why there so so many beauty products promising the same thing and yet so many people are still buying.

Have you ever hear your own voice through recordings? I bet you will ask yourself, "Why do I sound so bad?"

We spend most of our life looking at others, hearing others... You are more beautiful then you thought.

Did you ever open a phone book in the yellow pages of a big city & look under cosmetic surgery? Be yourself & spend money on your family & friends doing things y'all like & don't worry about making the doctors of cosmetic surgery richer. Peace.
