Downtown BI (Winston) is nice but quick visit for BI. My fav is to hit the Bainbridge Island Winery and have a tasting. Some of the best wines in the area, IMHO. Also goto the Bloedel Reserve. It's a nice, good sized quiet garden/reserve/walking area, but you need to phone/email early and make reservations, since it's limited on guests allowed at one time.

Drive the island too, it's pretty.

JUST on Bainbridge? Go to some of the shops in Winslow, dig for clams, camp and leave. That's all there is to do there. But they do have a great Safeway.

There also Clearwater Casino and resort, if you like that sort of thing. They have a shuttle service from the ferry.
