I topped out at about 165 in a dodge diplomat, it was used as an unmarked police car before I bought it.
On the interstate and over 20 years ago.

116mph on broad daylight. Meh, I know its dangerous but the freeway was clear and just wanted some rush that time. Car couldnt handle more after that and it felt slow going that speed.

I went 145 in my Alfa Romeo 164 once. It was 3am and the interstate bypass I took home from work was totally deserted. It was awesome. :-)
