Do you all think it's right if my husband let's me go with his friend to the beer store? The other day my husband had some buddies over after work. They were drinking so was i, but my husband ran out of beer but he didn't feel like driving to the store. So he told me to let his friend go for us. I told my husband i don't trust anyone with my car; but my husband kept insisting i finally said then if you don't want to go with him i will. And he said just hurry and come back. Now i feel that my husband don't love me that much to let me go with his buddy. Shouldn't he have been more protected of me to say it's late you don't need to be out there with a guy. He let me go! I feel so not special and not important. I feel if a guy truly loves his woman he will not let this happen. Am i over exaggerating or what?

I wouldn't say your husband doesn't care. Maybe he just trusts you and his friend. I know a lot of women who would say the same thing you do, but trust me, I would rather my husband trust me than be overly possessive. Remember, jealously and possession are not love. If you feel you need to be protected all the time, maybe you should take a good look at how you feel. Is your husband affectionate toward you? It seems like he didn't want you to be gone long? That appears to me like concern. Remember, men are not as chivalrous as they used to be. If you are going to be a modern couple in a modern world, you may have to deal with that. My husband made a very good point to me recently, he said that women for centuries have been begging for independence and freedom, now that they have it they complain we don't cater to them all the time. If a little thing like your husband letting you go to the store with one of his friends is enough to shake your confidence in him, maybe you should look a little deeper. Usually these are symptoms of a bigger problem.

Oh, you are looking at it all wrong. I would take this as a huge complement. By letting you go, he is showing he trusts you. He trusts you not to do something stupid, and he also trusts his friend not to try anything with you. I would really be happy if I were you. If he tryed to stop you that would probebly mean that he didnt trust you to make good decissions. He trusts you and he loves you. Be Happy!

Yeah your over reacting. Be thankful he is not monitoring your every move. There are plenty of woman out there who arent allowed to leave the house without there husbands permission.

You' you're worried over nothing - you're trying to find a reason to be upset with him.

He didn't ask you to go with the guy after all, you insisted. What if he feels like refusing would be mistrustful and an insult to you?

I think he just wanted his beer. Do you really want a guy that will give you and your friends the third degree whenever you do something without him?

Your husband cares more about that beer than he does you and you care more about getting him that beer no matter what.

I think you are exaggerating the situation. Would you rather that he didn't trust you?
