I mean,in the last book,Harry was there, doing heroic staffs just because of the sacrifice Severus made. But after the death of Severus, Harry didn't bother to pay homage to him, even after knowing everything from the pensive. He seemed worried about the possibility that he had to dye, not about the fact that Sev had already died!Don't you think it was extremely unfair?

I think he should of named his kid Severus Albus Potter, not Albus Severus Potter, cause didn't Dumbledore like not care or something? Snape cared more about Harry and was willing to sacrafice himself for him. Dumbledore gets the middle name if anything. Snape should have the 1st name!!

yes,i do wish that more had been said about snape at the end, but i think that harry did end up giving him the respect he deserved. i think that when harry was telling voldemort about snape and what he had done, that harry was standing up for snape and realizing all that had been done for him. i also think that at the end when harry says that snape was probably the most brave person he had ever known, that was also a way of saying thank you. i think that harry realized that snape was going to be a lot happier dead than he was alive, because snape would be joining the person he had truly loved.

also, the fact that harry gave his son albus, a middle name of severus, proves a lot. harry loved dumbledore a lot, and the fact that harry put snape's name with dumbledore's means that harry respected snape, and maybe even loved him. and it seems that albus held a very special place in harry's heart, that his name was the most significant of all the children's names. and maybe it shows that the two people harry missed the most, and was the most grateful to have were albus dumbldore and severus snape.

You have to understand that Harry and Snape were at loggerheads for six years before this. That couldn't be undone immediately. Harry DID clear Snape in front of witnesses during his duel with Valdemort. He didn't have to do that. And he did name his son after him. You will note that it is Severus Snape and not Sirius Black that he named a child after.

As for Harry's reaction when he'd just finished with the pensive, it was correct. He had to die. That was the important thing. It overwhelmed him.

Hi!
Excuse me, but what is the name of Harry's son?!
"Albus SEVERUS". What better homage than that is there?!
Besides, I'm not saying that Harry doesn't love all his children, but he obviously has a special sonnection with Albus.
AND, Albus has Lily's eyes.
I think Snape is mos certainly honores by him!

Goodluck!

The story was about Harry not Snape.

He did allow it to be known when he told Voldemort that Snape was a spy and what Snape had done before other people... so everyone did know.

But I don't think Harry "owed" it to Snape since Snape was always so eager to make Harry's life miserable since he was the son of James Potter. Too bad he didn't take into account that he was the son of Lily.

i do wish we could have seen more of Harry's responce regarding the revelations about snape and lily and snapes ultimate sacrifice ,however i do think that given the circumstances of his imminent death to save the world he can be forgiven his slight selfishness at that moment,i'm sure he reflected on snapes actions and fully appreciated what he had done for him when the battle was over and he had time to fully digest what he had seen, proof of which is harry naming his son severus.

No, because Harry already had a lot to deal with on his own.
And anyway, in the Epilogue, it says he named one of his kids after him. Isn't that good enough?

he named one of his sons after him... Albus Severus. he says to Albus "Albus Severus, you were named for two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew."

im sure harry valued the sacrifice that severus made. he valued it so much he named his kid after him, second only to dumbledore's own name 'albus'.

he named one of his sons after him and said snape was the bravest man he ever knew. also, i think he was just a little worried about the fact he was about to die. i'm sure afterward he fully thought about it.
