The answer to that question entirely depends upon what you mean by "authority." I certainly do not allow anyone to arbitrarily give me orders. However, I do respect people who are "authorities" in their field, and I seek and sometimes follow their advice. I very much resent many of the "laws" derived by human beings in order to keep the masses under control. I do not consider myself to be one of the "masses" and I resent anyone trying to label me as such.

No really....only when they take advantage of the authority they are given. They are trusted with the authority they are given for a reason, and when they take advantage of it it pisses me off!
