Feels like everyone dies, except the people who really matter:
Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione.
From the way I ordered the characters, I think you could also venture a guess towards the nature of the their marital relations after they kill (spoiler! spoiler!)
Voldemort.
To give you a general sense of the carnage, 50+ people died, including many unnamed.
There was one response to a similar question - I think the answerer was all too true. To roughly paraphrase - "Maybe you should've asked who DIDN'T die instead"
But don't mourn for the end of Potter yet - Rowling left Harry alive, and I think that's telling us something...

Some that got missed include Wormtail and Colin Creevey and Bathilda Bagshot (author of The History of Magic). 50 defenders plus Fred, Lupin, Tonks, and Colin died at the Battle of Hogwarts. Not all were named. Oh, and Snape got left off the list.
Oh, and one of Draco's henchmen died. I don't remember whether it was Crabbe or Goyle.

How would you know who really died honestly and seriously if you don't read the book and by the way who dies and who dosen't isn't even close to the best part of it. Read the book. trust me you won't be dissapointed.

the muggle studies teacher, madeye moody, the minister, hedwig, dobby, fred, lupin, tonks,belatrix, voldemort, harry doesnt die, he jst goes into a limbo type thing-it wierd, colin, lavender gets attacted by greybackbut he wasnt a werewolf at the time, a good few other students and death eaters
