Not at all. Whenever anyone attempts to e-flirt with me, I always brush it off.

Oooo i hope u arent standin by electrical outlets when u get struck down by lightening for lyin like that!!! :-)
Anyway, um.... e-flirting is a picky subject. And i must say that I dont play a fair game. Cuz im a flirt by nature (as you've seen). And so it doesnt mean much coming from me UNLESS I suggest takin it a step further. Which if im interested, i will make that suggestion. lol. But flirting can be harmless as long as there are no innuendos that u want the e-flirting to move from the computer screen to the nearest Motel 6. Or the Marriott. Whichever floats your boat.
But i'm bad though cuz if i catch even the slightes signs of e-flirting goin on between my girlfriend and someone else....oooo. RUN.

I don't take it seriously, in the sense that I am promising anything more than a harmless bit of fun. If I feel someone is taking it too seriously then I will back off and make it clear no offence or serious committment was meant. The trouble with flirting (for me) is alot of it revolves around body language which you don't (obviously) get online so it can be a case of I write one thing being me from the UK and it gets picked up by someone else who interprets it totally differently!

It depends with whom and how it started. For me, silly flirting is harmless. It's just playing... I know I'm playing and I make sure the person I'm playing with knows it.
However, I started emailing and then e-flirting with someone and it eventually ended up serious. But we knew we weren't playing, we knew we were being serious, and we knew where it was leading and we're both ok with it. So now I have a girlfriend that I met here! It's long-distance, so it's hard in some ways, but soooooo totally worth it!
Did that make any sense or am I just rambling from heat-stroke again??? LOL

It depends on how long the flirting has been going on and the content of the message - e-flirting is pretty harmless but i do know of people not from this site but others similar who have become couples after a few months of harmless flirting

first of let me say, liar!!! you flirt with me all the time and I keep telling you can not convert me to lesbianism, it's just not going to happen!
second, I don't take it seriously at all. I'm really not flirting with anyone anymore, because some people take it seriously, even when it's a total joke! So I try to be nice, but I know if you cross the line with me, I just put you on block/ignore. I'm here to answer questions, make some friends, educate myself, and to be myself. But I'm not dealing with drama of someone who decides to speak their love for me, or claims I should be dating anyone from here, or gives me their phone number... :)

the difficulty with digital mail flirting is somebody probable will take it too heavily. That guy or woman may be the guy who's getting the e-mails or a companion who unearths them. I rather have a pal who left her fiance for a guy that she became in basic terms flirting with and that guy quickly advised her that he could no longer be together with her. I had a male pal who lost his lady pal, because of the fact she became offended at what he became e-mailing to different women folk. He advised her it became in basic terms threat loose flirting, yet she had no interest in being with somebody who did that. Myself, i does no longer do it. in my opinion i think of it may harm my fiance's emotions, and no flirting relaxing is properly worth that.

LOL of corse darling! (Very cute!)
Depends on the person and the flirt...I have guy friends on here who can't talk without it...but it is just a game for sure. There are guys who make me nervous in the way they flirt and there was one guy who...yeah...I took seriously. He ment it serious and he shouldn't have.

I don't take it very seriously at all....but flirting in person kinda makes me mad. And though I know I'm a huge flirt, I hate it when my girlfriend does it.

I think it is all in good fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously unless you actually know the person on here you are flirting with in person!

Depends on the situation of the e-flirting. If it is on a hook-up site, then I take it more seriously as it might go somewhere (wink wink nudge nudge). If it is here, then I take it with a grain of salt. It really depends on the situation. I try not to generalize.
