For those that missed the debate and wish to see it....

I am a Republican, yet think it my duty to watch both parties debates and get to know the candidates on both sides. While I am going to vote Republican I would have to give Kucinich and Biden the win on this particular debate (with Richardson doing poorest).

What say you?

Greg- I would have to agree with you. I have watched all the debates and have followed politics for many years. Biden is in my estimation the best of the Dem lot (most experience, qualified, and informed). I find it odd that he has not received more support, (both parties have odd circumstances and preferences this election).

O'bama for '08- Agreed. This was his (Edward's) time to shine and he did not. He should drop out at this point.

Havasoo- I haven't decided as yet which Republican I am fully behind. I agree that the Republicans need to discuss other issues besides 911 and Iraq.

Elway_the_Cat- The boos were right he should have answered the question, yet I think his response being more an attack on Obama, and it being Obama land, has alot to do with the booing as well.
I agree Hillary won out of the top tier. Her recent talk of lobby contributions not effecting her votes or positions is not a good argument however. I think she needs to deal with this issue, but I do not think she will lose enough support to lose the nomination simply on that.

Biden would probably be her best choice for VP for many reasons. It would be a powerful ticket.

I am watching it now on the link you gave me. So far, Clinton and Obama are pandering and they seem so plastic. Biden is talking awesome about the issues and looks like a President. Kucinich is doing great too!

This was the first Democratic debate in which they stopped trying to be nice to one another, which made it the first good debate in my opinion. Clinton did well, as she always does. Biden made a mistake dismissing the widow to insist on answering about Pakistan, he deserved those boos. But Biden and Dodd started double teaming Obama, basically backing up Hillary's stance on Obama's naivete on foreign issues. She once again made Obama look foolish on Pakistan, making the very valid points of the political minefield Pakistan has become and that if we don't deal with Musharraf, Islamic extremists friendly to Al Queda/Taliban could easily take over and have nuclear weapons at their disposal. Kucinich was pretty good last night, though he doesn't really stand a chance in this crowd. I think Biden always does well, he's one of my main choices for VP for Sen. Clinton.

The pundits give the debate to Sen. Clinton, though public opinion doesn't alway correspond to their analysis.

Kucinich, Biden and Hillary were the clear winners. Dodd and Obama did OK and Richardson and Edwards seemed to do the worst. A lot of the time was spent pandering to the Union crowd, but I expected nothing less.

I think Biden would be a very good VP to Hillary, Kucinich is my favorite but seems unelectable to me.

besides the reality that he's not a extreme profile candidate, in case you pay attention to who's extremely been scuffling with in Congress for procuring us out of Iraq, strengthening hard artwork rules, or perhaps impeaching the main corrupt and inept administration this u . s . has ever had, the winner of this debate replaced into Dennis Kucinich. while asked approximately subjects, he did no longer supply an prolonged-winded speech approximately what he replaced into going to do. He pronounced all the resolutions he's at the instant bringing to the Congress now. the clicking might desire to be greater honest and supply him some point out too.

I would like to see a Biden/Obama ticket in 2008. These debates don't really show us anything. We have to realize that whoever becomes President still has to have a congress and a house that will cooperate to get anything done. I don't think the President alone has the power to withdraw from NAFTA or the WTO, as Kucinich says he will do in the first week. He seems more of a divider than a uniter.

But as a Republican, how are you going to vote for any of those candidates! There isn't one outstanding candidate in the whole bunch. Talk about pandering, they are basing their entire platforms on 9/11 and terrorists!

In the AFL-CIO debate I think the man who can't beat all the big money candidates kicked ***!Kucinich said more speaking for America and its workers than any one up there. The rest just attacked Bush and each other, saying the same old B.S.I really laughed as they tried to out union each other. What a joke! And yes I'm a proud 47 year member of the Brick-layers union.B.A.C.of Florida.

Union members will continue to listen to their pandering and their empty "promises", as they have always done. Have Hillary, Obama, and Edwards ever carried a union card? No. They're all lawyers, and they don't give a rat's *** about the union members, just their votes.

As a Republican, I'm not "anti-union" and once carried a hod-carriers' and common laborer's card, and later a UAW card. But some unions have a history of being run by mobsters, and unfortunately a lot of good people still have to put up with that to earn a living. But THEY DON'T HAVE TO DO WHAT THE SHOP STEWARD TELLS THEM IN THE VOTING BOOTH.

I learned something new. Apparently, according to Barack Obama, Canada has a president! I guess it's time we renamed the country to "America Lite" or "American Junior."
