compare Los Angeles and New york?

Question

u east coasters have to relize one thing about cali, the cities out here try to rival LA. meaning san diego and san fran and san bernardino and other citys dont like LA bcuz they want to be the main attraction out here. so LA would get hated on while the whole east coast is riding on New Yorks back. here is a site that shows the many LA attractions and unlike new york, LA is spread out and there is so many things to do and see. check out the pics of many LA landmarks

I live on the east coast and do not prefer either, Miami Beach has my vote.

You have no clue what your talking about.

I've spent a lot of time on both the west and east coasts, including living in and visiting the LA area numerous times. If I was going to pick "a" city in Cali to go on vacation it would be San Francisco. SF has it all over LA. IMHO the only interesting place in LA is Hollywood, cause of all the freaks on Hollywood Blvd.

New York is in a league of it's own, there is no other city in the US that can hold a candle to NY for sights, history, culture, ethnic diversity, smells, freaks etc..

you have no clue what you are talking about. SF and San Diego try to be the OPPOSITE of LA and don't want to be anything like it. I like LA, it's a great city in it's own way but a much harder city to like right away like SF or SD. SD and SF have the biggest anti-LA mentality and always use it as an example of what not to do when it comes to transportation and development.

First of all Chicago is better than both.
The only reason why LA is sprawled is for there to eb more room for traffic. No one WANTs to be like LA, it just happens. The only thing La has is Holly wood. They have no better attracions. Therye teams suck. Look at the clippers.
