Question for females and crossdressers?

Do you ever buy underwear just on impulse while you are out shopping for something else, if you do what do think influences you, is it usally the colour, style, material, beacause you think it looks sexy or because its pretty or something else. And please say if you are a female or crossdresser if you dont mind.

I usually do this in the sales, something pretty usually, impulse buying your ordinary everyday undies just doesn't seem as much of a treat, so I usual impulse buy something pretty and feminine or an unusual colour that I wouldn't normally buy. I'm female by the way!

I buy underwear only when I literally need it. That being said, after my pregnancy, I'm definitely getting new underwear after my pregnancy. A six pack of Hanes low cut bikinis for $7. They'll last me a few years. I'm down to only two or three comfortable pairs, but I figure they can last me until after the baby. Especially if I only get dressed when I go out and wear them for only a few hours at a time.

Overall, though, I rarely impulse buy. If I buy something, whether it be groceries or clothing, it's because I need it. Sure, there have been times at the grocery store (where I shop the most) when I've seen things like whole wheat crackers on sale for $1 and pick up a couple of boxes, but usually I buy because I need it and get the lowest price possible.

i have been a crossdresser for almost 30 years. I have gone through the various stages of being a crossdresser. I have purged my clothes more times than I can remember. I have been married and while she knew of my crossdressing, she ended up not liking it. (We have separated but it was not due to the crossdressing) The conclusion that I have come to is simply this: To thine own self be true. If you like crossdressing -- then crossdress. It's ok. Be happy with the person you are. The clothes you wear don't define you, your actions do. Enjoy who you are.

I just wanted to say wow, I still cant belive underwear could be such an issue to shop for, and impulse too! =O

But it makes shopping with girls that much more fun. Cuz walkin in a La senza by yourself, you're stared at oddly no matter what. Seeing women choosing intimates,Hey,..i'm not complaining.
especially when that Hottie down the aisle pulls out a G string Thong. wowwww...*daydream*

For guys its just, Color &Brand Name and just choose between Brief/Boxer Brief/ Boxer shorts.

Impulse? not unless you need them. E.G Valentines day Love comes up, and you see red Hearts and arrows on boxers.

Or your old ones got stained.............

I am female. I buy loads of underwear all the time. I am always browsing the underwear departments in M&S or Debenhams because I think that wearing nice underwear makes you feel more confident in yourself, even if it is only your husband who will see it. I will buy styles that look pretty or that I already have and love to wear. Sometimes I will consciously look for a particular style that I have seen in a magazine or a colour to match an outfit I am planning to wear. Some women like to buy lots of shoes, I like to have lots of underwear.

Odd question! I am a female, and not a cross dresser. When I am out shopping, I buy whatever I feel I need, if my underwear supply is low, I'll get some more. I dont like to buy something because it looks sexy, I hardly ever wear that stuff. If I see something I like and I need, I will get it.

I'm female... although I do have very big hands. I buy underwear constantly, usually when I'm running through Target in search of groceries or a birthday gift or new tights. Usually I just think they're cute.

The thing is, clothes are expensive. Underwear are cheap. You can completely redo your wardrobe in what you'd spend on beers over the weekend. Fabulous.

if i buy underwear on an impulse, i usually buy it based on the color, has to be something cute, bright colors, cute patterns, etc. also its def. based on the style. i dont really like the boy shorts, and i dont normally like thongs, so usually i look for bikini undies. the material doesnt really matter, as long as it looks comfy and cute and isnt something cheapy. otherwise that, that's pretty much it.

female. and i buy underwear all the time! i'm starting to think i'm obsessed! lol i think its a combination of style, colours or patterns and the material. it doesnt need to be sexy, just appeal to me. the last pair of undies i bought had hello kitty on them! lol my boyfriend thinks i have childish taste in undies! i'm twenty seven but those pants just looked really cute and they were in the adult section so there! i mainly buy the shorts style tho.

Hi, I'm a female and for me i think it starts with ur undergarments, its the first thing u put on so therefor it should be comfort first, cuse its the closes thing to ur body, after that everything else should fit just right, and yes sexy is a femine thing ,so for me comfort is main thing ,and i like to buy for that reason, i also like to find sexy things too, but its not really important at all times, there's a time for everything, im more into purses and shoes but when i do buy underware, its when i see something that i know is good quality, and reasonable price, i will splurge on them if im in need of new ones and the comfort is for me, I do like to have those sexy ones, and sometimes they do catch my eyes and will buy on impulse, its not a big deal for me, as i said, i first look for comfort, i dont like something sleezing and cheap against my body, start with what best suits ur body too, some people will skimp into underware that is not theie size, just because its cute or sexy, always please ur body first ,then u can please ur man second, anyway how often do they pay attention to them ,they just rip them off, so for me its always what i feel fit in and what goes with my buget, all woman like sexy things, dont get me wrong and i do too, but when i buy its for comfort and i have those cute and sexy ones for the occasions and those that suite me at work or leasiure time, i go buy them when i feel im in need for some new ones or if im just shopping for others things and happen to come across someting i like, i also like to take my time in shopping, when it comes finding the right things, i dont like to buy just cuse its on sale ,and maybe its not really my styl, or best suited for me, this also applys for my clothing, i'm very picky at what i like and what i feel good in.
