Yes, been there done that.......especially if they were drunk!! My roommate, a friend of ours & I were out at a bar one night sitting on the back patio outside & there was some guy who was completely toasted that ended up tripping while coming up a flight of only 3 or 4 steps that were next to us. We laughed hysterically & he ended up coming over to talk to us then bought us drinks!! How funny is that??? We called him "stair master" the rest of the night. LOL!!

I laugh at myself when I trip and fall in public. Imo, it's not mean to laugh, however, as we know, some ppl would be offended, which winds up making you/me laugh even more/harder.

It depends on who fell and how they fell. If it was an elderly person that fell, or someone that fell really hard really quick, I probably wouldn't laugh. If a young person fell and it was all long and drawn out, then I would laugh.

I would surpress the urge to laugh and try and make sure they were OK. I can understand the urge sometimes to laugh, but unless they are laughing with you, it's just mean.
I know it sounds preachy, but that is the truth for me.

I would try to see if they needed help.
I would only laugh at them if I had seen them laugh at someone else who had fallen.
I suppose someone might in turn laugh at me who had seen me laugh at that person.
