If I'm trapped in a well I'm probably not in a very busy area so I would call 911; in small towns it's not like they are overwhelmed with calls so whoever answers will probably be happy to get a real emergency.
If I'm near a city, though, I'd call someone that I know will be at home at that time (friend, family member) because only 18% of the nations 911 centers are capable of tracking a cell phone signal and in a busy area I might need more than a minute to get them to take me seriously.

I started to say my wife, but her phone is never turned on. So probably 911, and just say an adress, stuck in a well, hurry.

i'd call my mom, then when the 1 min is up call 911, because even if you have no mins left your cell phone can still dial out to 911!

911. can trace your cell phone so you don't have to say a thing. they will find you!!!
and most cell phones even if dead you can phone 911.
so I would not prank them!!!!
but for the fun of it!!!
