We have 5 children plus us. They are all small. The oldest is 4, a set of twins that will be 3 by then and a set of twins that will be 10 months by then. We don't want scary. It has to be family friendly. We did puppies and pirates already. I kinda need things that would be easy to make yourself and not a pain to get in and out of we have a couple of nights we have to dress up for different things. Thank you for you help.

I know a family who is dressing up as the characters from Clue.

Just dress everyone in a different color and give them one of the weapons from the game - like a plastic wrench or hammer from a toy set, a silk rope (knotted tight for safety), a bottle or plastic cup with a skull & crossbones for poison, an empty plastic water gun (doesn't have to look realistic, just to get the general idea), etc.

This would be inexpensive, comfortable, and flexible. And I think it's really funny.

Party City has a whole range of costumes suitable for every member of the family, and I think you'll be able to find some great ideas from there.

And, they’re doing a sneak peek online fashion show today! Check out this website http://www.partycitydev.com/costumes/home.html

They’re also giving away discount coupons and a trip to Vegas!!

How bout Smurfs or Ghosts? Maybe the 4 and 3 yr old twins could be little football players and the 10 month old could be little cheerleaders. lol

Good Luck

We were the people off of Scooby Doo once. I was Velma! If you want 2 re-use costumes, I just had a red skirt, an orange sweater, orange socks, and red shoes. I re-used all of them. If u want to, put penciled on freckles and a pair of glasses with the glasses poked out.

I've seen a family dress as a train with the littlest one as the caboose.

I've seen a vegetable patch with the tallest being a scarecrow down to a pea pod for the wee one.

A suite of cards? King(s)/Queen(s) for parents, down to denominations depending on age?

Celestial theme? Parents are sun/moon, the kids are stars.

Zodiac theme? Everyone dresses as their zodiac sign.

Circus theme? Ringmaster/Ringleader plus clowns, lions, lion tamer?

Penguins for everyone?

Santa & reindeer?
