When ever she wants to rent movies, she uses this. If late fees are there when we want to get something, we pay. I am more than a little upset that she is still on his account. What do you think?

Close the account and open a new one in Your Husband's and your name only.

Thats how you solve this problem.

She is history- let her get her own damn account....maybe once she is paying her own late fees, she'll learn to return her movies on time.

One possible solution is to ask your ex-husband to get a cell phone that is just for your daughter to call him at. Let him know that she needs to speak to him without being subjected to any unpleasantness from the new wife. Children remember rejection and hurt for a long, long time. I hope he will one day see the new wife for the witch that she behaves like, but that is not your concern. Anything you say about the new wife at this point will be seen as "sour grapes", so ask him if there is any way possible for your daughter to contact him that does not involve his wife. If he is unwilling, send him registered mail about your daughter's progress and you will have the receipts as proof that you are in compliance with the court's orders. If he is a good father, he will come to his senses and keep civility between his child and the new wife.

Well, your husband must know her name is on there and he must be okay with paying the late fees for her. What's the big deal? If he is okay with it, then why raise a fuss. He'd probably rather just pay the fees than go through the hassle of creating an account or contacting her about it. Find something else to complain about.

Why has it taken you three years to find out. Or to finally be upset about it?

Close the account and open a new one. This is a simple solution to this problem. Your real problem is if your husband was aware and did not mind. Maybe he is not over her.

Tell your husband that he needs to close his old account right away. That having his ex-wife renting movies on an account they had when they were together is disrespectful to you and is hurting your feelings. This guy has to realize that his past life is over and he has a new one with you!

Is it his account or YOUR account. If it is YOUR account, you can have her removed. If you don't like it, let him know and then set up your own account and refuse to pay her late fees any longer.

Tell you husband to cancel the account and sign up for a new one with just you & your husband, or cancel it and go to Netflix, or .... (there are a bunch of other new ones out now, just find the cheapest one/the one that offers the most for the money).

That's definitely an issue. It's up to your husband to take care of that by having her taken off. You and your husband have your own life and you shouldn't have anybody else coming in and have shared accounts with them, especially the "ex".

Change it yourself. Its time to move on. I lived with an ex wifes picture in my hall way for a year. It was to not upset my step son. One day I moved the damn thing to behind his bedroom door. It wasnt noticed for about three months. Then it was okay.
