Only so long as you finish his name out with 'Texas Ranger'. I definitely don't think of Talladega Nights (granted yes, that is his kids name lol) I will forever think of Chuck Norris and the show.

Walker is fine if, if he is a Texas ranger, or if you don't mind giving a last name as a first name.
Get a book and don't get inspired by movies that are not MEANT to be taken seriously.

I know an off-road racer named Walker. He is very good! Wasn't bad looking in his day either! I think it is a very strong name that could go well with almost any last name! I say use it, it's a winner!

It's a solid name. I wouldn't recommend "Texas Ranger" as a middle name, though!
Walker Thomas would be a nice name.

My dad's friend has a little boy named Walker Andrew. He's so c ute and he's 6 years old. They nicknamed him Wal, so he goes by either Wal or Andrew.

the first Walker I knew was a girl, it was her mother's maiden name her name was Walker Fitzgerald, we used to tease her that it sounded like a law firm.
