The answer is D, but the question itself is a bit off since

1) It is the "Intolerable Act-S" [or "Coercive Acts" ] --plural! -- since Parliament took a whole SERIES of actions in response to the Boston Tea Party

2) it's a bit confusing to say that the closing of the port of Boston was a "result" of the Intolerable Acts. Rather one of these acts (the Boston Port Act [March 31, 1774]) mandated the closing of the port
