Neither is inherently better than the other, both are quite different and dependign on the type of tetra you mean, the difference could be astounding. One may be better suited for a particular tank, but not just generally better.

Zebras are more aggressive and may nip some docile fish. Tetras like Neons or Cardinals are more peaceful and have lots of eye appeal in groups of 6 or more.

I say tetras are better than zebras i especially like neons and glo lites and lemon tetras but i do have zebra danios

better for what? What size is your tank? I prefer neon and/or glow-light tetras, simply because they are more colorful. Both zebras and tatras swim in active scools and are fun to wach- tetras stay smaller and are generally easier for beginners, but otherwise both species are nice to keep.

on my opinion a tetera because most are really colourful but if u like a stripy fish go for the zebra

I like salmon. And beer battered haddock. Sorry, I don't know anything about pet fish... except that the goldfish you win from the county fair always die within a week. bummer.....
