DEAR GIRL NEXT DOOR, GREAT QUESTION! CONSIDERING THAT FEMALES GO THRU FROM 30-40 YEARS "ENJOYING" PERIODS, UNDERSTAND THAT MOST OF US HAVE EXPERIENCED AN INTERRUPTION AT SOME POINT. THE POSSIBILITIES OF WHY ARE ENDLESS, EVERYTHING FROM STRESS TO LOSING FAR TOO MUCH WEIGHT CAN STOP YOUR PERIOD. AND IT MAY BE SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN CORRECT VERY SIMPLY OR SOMETHING SERIOUS THAT NEEDS IMMEDIATE PROFESSIONAL TREATMENT. YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK IN TRYING TO DISCOVER THIS CHANGE. HOWEVER, THIS IS TRULY ONE FOR THE PROS. SEE YOUR MD OR VISIT A WOMANS CLINIC AND LET US ALL KNOW HOW YOU'RE DOING. GOOOOD LUCK TO OUR GIRL NEXT DOOR!

You are underweight. It is possible your body thinks it is starving (like an anorexic girl, not that you are) THis could be why your period stops.

You really should gain some weight.
