iv got flash but still no content keeps telling me about my java is swicth off

What content do you mean? If its streaming video from the web,
download the latest flash player from adobe.Also download java runtime environment form java website.After you do this the problem will be solved.

follow these steps to enable java so that the flash applet can run..
Click "Tools" --> "Internet Options"
Select the Advanced Tab, and scroll down to "Java (Sun)"
Check the box next to the "Use Java 2" version
Next, select the Security Tab, and select the "Custom Level" button
Scroll down to "Scripting of Java applets"
Make sure the "Enable" radio button is checked.
Click OK to save your preference.
