You would do well to call the station(s) on which you want to advertise because there are a lot of questions to answer.

1. Do you want a local or a network ad?
2. How long a commercial do you want.
3. How often will you run it?
4. Do you want a specific time of day or night?

A local one time only 15 second spot at 2:00 AM won't cost too much. A full network buy in the middle of the Super Bowl will cost millions.

Don't forget to figure in the cost of making the commercial before you even get it to air.
