If it is sticking out even a little bit try using a pair of pliers, If it is all the way in you might have to drill a hole in the center of the screw head and use a easy out bit to remove it.

If it is in a drywall and hanging in there - try punching in through so it falls down inside the wall. Then fill the hole with spackle.

If it is in a wooden stud of a drywall covered wall and any part is showing dig around that head.until you can get a grip with a vise-grip style pliers and turn it counterclockwise to loosen it. Spackle again to remove any trace.

Unless there is a good reason for getting it out, why not just drive it into the wall below the surface and spackle over it? You hold take a nail or screw up to it and hammer it in.

A sort of intensive way to get it out (but will protect the wall the best) is to find someone with a drill and tap set (preferably with the knowledge to use it). You can buy one yourself, but it wouldn't be worth the expense.

Magnet, or drill a hole in it and pull out.
