i know what you are saying it is hard. what you should do is write all the thoughts you have in your head on paper they don't have to be in order or anything just write.
then when all the thoughts you have are on paper put them in order.
then when you are all organised when you have a thought write it on a peice of paper even if you don't use that thought it will help you to think of more stuff and free your self from keeping all the thought in your head. hope this helps if you do this it will, trust me.

Do you daydream? I advise you to do that, it will help. I am like you too, I have lots of ideas and sometimes I am in a hurry to write them all down. So what I always do is write short plots of all the stories and ideas I have as fast as I can. Either in the computer or in a piece of paper, it doesn't matter just as long as you can keep it. If you ran out of ideas in one story, go and make another. KEEP THEM SAFE!!
Just keep them okay? And the next thing I do is review them whenever you see them. Brainstorm, yes that's it. Pick your favourite story, the one that inspires you most and try to enhance it make it into a real story. Just keep on writing and enjoy it. There are times when you'll get discouraged, but don't give up!
What I sometimes do when I get really bored of writing it is I just forget about it for a while and write another story. (that's why I have lots of novel drafts in my box) You can get back to it later when your mind is fresh enough.

Well, I think you've actually answered your own question: "just get it down."
I dearly want to write and myself don't have time. Really. As a stay at home parent I'm on the go all day long (or certainly not without distractions that would bust a flow). By the time I have time to write in a day, I am spent and just go to bed myself.
Now I know I should take the advice of Loren Estleman who in his book about novel writing says he heard of a teacher who would think of what he wanted to write while commuting to work, spend TWO MINUTES a day writing things when he got to his classroom, and then went about his day job. So there has to be time--and you have some. Use it.
Even if for now you free-write and assemble notes and ideas, it will come together.
There's also a piece--an excerpt from a book about writing--in the latest Oprah mag (starts on or about p160).
Just write and write and write.
Hope it goes well!

well you need an idea. Start out with your main characters and give them names. Then stem the plot and ask yourself all kinds of questions in an attempt to thwart any plothole you might run into later on. Get a bulletin board and jot down notes on it and put it in the area where you will be working. Give faces to your main characters with maybe celebrity pictures. Once you've got concrete bases, sit down and just start to write. Tell yourself you are going to write 4000 words a day, give yourself a deadline etc.

i had the same problem mate, get all of your written notes together first of all - then choose a story or an idea. Then just start writing it!! you already know the basic plot so just start writing.
the hardest things is starting it, and once you have done a few pages, just go back and read & revise it. then you will have an idea about how to continue

That's the major question. Where do I find the time? If you set a four hour block of time to write everyday then before you know it you will have written your book. Find a place you like and makes you feel safe and comfortable. Write. Of course that's just step one.

you're a liar. Acts replaced into written via Luke, the common practitioner and companion of Paul, who wrote lots of the epistles. the two Luke's Gospel and Acts have been committed to "Theophilus" (see Luke a million:3 and Acts a million:a million) a guy or woman of a few vast distinction, given the call "maximum techniques-blowing", to offer him with Luke's account of early Christian heritage from the beginning of John the Baptist and Jesus (8-6 BCE) to the top of Paul's 2 years detention at Rome (circa advert sixty one). some dated Luke's written artwork as previous due as ninety CE, yet weight of information looks to favour an formerly date.

a really good place to start is to buy a good book on writing. this tells you some of the methods used by other writers, how they do their notes etc.
I am writing at present: I have a load of notes on the storylines, the charactors, then a small synopsis on each chapter, then I expand on the chapter going into more depth. remember you can chapters chapters or sections anyway you see fit, you just place them in the correct order at a later date. if I can be of more help just contact me
