Because everyone is different and unique. Each woman's hormones govern how her body works. Some will just naturally have longer and some shorter. Some will cycle sooner, others have longer cycles.

Well it depends on the way you take care of yourself and also because everybodys bodies are different. Trust me i have started mine and my friend has hers for like 12 days and i only have mine for about 6 days. But my doctor just said that its because our bodies or different and she started in about 3rd grade and i just started this year she once had hers for 4 weeks strate and she had to go on birth control. now she only has it for 7 days. Trust me it is just that our bodies are different.
