Political wisdom says no because he can't deliver a republican state. He might not be able to deliver his own state in the primaries for that matter. Running mates are all about added votes and converting the other side to your side.

Personally I do not see this country being ready to elect a dual-minority ticket.

The back and forth, and venom displayed between Clinton and Obama leads me to believe that there is almost no chance of her taking him.

I would not be surprised what so ever to see Clinton take either: Biden, Dodd, or Richardson.

A real wild card, that nobody talks about, would be Evan Bayh, who almost ran for the presidency, but would be a nice counter part to Clinton.

She will probably ask Chris Dodd or John Edwards to be her VP. She might even ask a moderate republican! Obama and Hillary are two very different kinds of politicians, I doubt she would ask him to be VP.
