After my miscarriage the doctor told me to wait 3 months before trying again. That time period allowed my body to recover and allowed my uterus to close and become its normal size. I was able to conceive successfully after that time.
Have you been checked by your doctor since your miscarriage? He or she will be able to tell if there is some issue that is preventing your conceiving. Be strong and good luck.

No, but if you had a miscarriage and still haven't conceived over that period, I would make an appointment with a fertility specialist. There may be something that actually caused your miscarriage that is interfering with your getting pregnant again.

In answer to your top question, there is a high miscarriage rate for women who get pregnant before a 2nd cycle after a miscarriage or abortion. One of the theories is that your pregnancy hormones hang around for awhile and may interfere with the next pregnancy. I'm not certain that doctors really understand it in detail either. After a cycle, that has been cleared.

my baby son was stillborn in march of this year and already my wife and I are expecting again so after suffering a miscarriage in 2005 you should have been able to concieve again. I would suggest that you make an appoinment to see your doctor asap. Its likely that they will offer you some basic fertility tests. Another child does not replace the baby that you sadly lost but I wish you luck for the future

If you have had fertility tests carried out then there may be other factors that could be causing you to have difficulty conceiving. Ensure that your neither over or under weight. Follow a healthy diet and cut out smoking and alcohol ( if this applies to you) Take folic acid and ensure that your having sex at your most fertile time of the month. Ovulation tests could help you to indicate your most 'fertile time' again I wish you luck

thats nothin to do with why u havent concieved.depends on how far on u r into thepregnacy.if u miscarry in first few weeks docs say there is no medicalevidence to suggest that it causes another miscarriage if u get pregnant straight away....i lost my son 3 years ago aged 6 weeks and 9 weeks ago i miscarried after ttc for 18 months.u will never ever replace the kid u lost. its the hardest thing for ppl to go thru.just keep on tryin and never give up hope.keep faith and hope with u always and u will get there.baby dust to us all.

I personally do not think that is the reason you haven't conceived again... maybe there was complications after the miscarriage...whatever it is you actually need to seek advice from your doctor and they can investigate and see what is happening

I do not think that is the reason you have not conceived as I miscarried end of feb this year and got pregnant next cycle, using ovulation predictors etc.

my doctor had told me to wait 2 months to try again after my miscarriage, and it took us almost 2 years to get pregnant again, my gyn. gave me clomid and I got pregnant, but he also told me I was stressing way to much, and I needed to relax, because that was not helping me. I wish you the best of luck.

No. you can start trying to get pregnant right after.

Did your cycles get back to normal after your loss?

Its time to talk with a professional.
