Unfortunately, your notation isn't clear. But, in general, square roots can be eliminated by squaring both sides of an equation. If you mean

sqrt(5x + 1) - sqrt(3x) = 1,

start by squaring both sides. You get

5x + 1 - 2*sqrt(15x^2 + 3x) + 3x = 1
8x = 2*sqrt(15x^2 + 3x)

Then square both sides again and combine like terms, and you'll have a straightforward quadratic equation to solve.

Q: (5x + 1)root + (-3x)root = 1

Sol:
· (5x + 1)root = 1 – (-3x)root

i have replaced root by 1/2

i.e to the power 1/2

Do square on both the sides.

· ((5x + 1)1/2 )2 = (1 – (-3x)1/2 )2

· 5x + 1 = 1 – 2(1)(-3x)1/2 – 3x

· 5x + 1 – 1 + 3x = -2(-3x)1/2

· 8x = -2(-3x)1/2

· 8x / (-2) = (-3x)1/2

· -4x = (-3x)1/2

Do square on both the sides.

· (-4x )2 = ((-3x)1/2 )2

· 16x2 = -3x

· So,

· x = 0 or 16x = -3

· Hence x = 0 or x = -16/3

5x+1 root = 1+ (3x root)
5x+1 = 1+3x+ (6x root)
2x = 6x root
x = 3x root
x root = 3 root
x = 3

I think you mean sqrt(5x+1) - sqrt(3x) = 1. If so, then
sqrt(5x+1) = 1 + sqrt(3x). Square both sides:
5x + 1 = 1 + 3x + 2sqrt(3x), or
2x = 2 sqrt(3x), or
x = sqrt(3x),
x = 3.

5x+1-3x= n
5x-1-3x= -1
5x-3x= -1
2x= -1
multiply both sides by 1/2
x= -1/2
