Here's my fantasy football team...

QB Drew Brees
QB Eli Manning
RB LaDainian Tomlinson
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Jamal Lewis
WR Plaxico Burress
WR Hines Ward
WR Jerricho Cotchery
WR Mike Furrey
WR Muhsin Muhammad
TE L.J. Smith
TE Dallas Clark
K Nate Kaeding
D New England
D Atlanta

I need some input on who my startes should be and any trades I should propose. I know Brees, Tomlinson, Plaxico, H. Ward, and the Patriots defense will all start. But I'm not sure about my 2nd RB (Peterson or Lewis) and my 3rd WR (Cotchery, Furrey, Muhammad) and my TE (Smith or Clark). I'm also thinking about trading someone for a good receiver. Do you think that's a good idea?

1. Drop Atlanta defense. That spot will be better used on a RB or QB.

2. Cotchery will probably end up being your starter, but if Calvin Johnson isn't 1 or 2 in Detroit at seasons start Furrey would be a great option.

3. LJ Smith is a great pick as long as McNabb stays healthy, so right now he should start at TE

4. Peterson has to share carries with Taylor right now. At this point I would start Lewis, however once the season starts Peterson might surprise and have an outstanding fantasy year.

You could use another WR, but at this point I don't see how/who you could trade to get one. You need to have 3 starter worthy RB's and Eli Manning/Dallas Clark/your current 3-5th WRs will not bring you much.

You have a solid team but may need some luck to be a top team (Peterson-3rd WR)

Peterson should be the second back, I think he will be rookie of the year, and - in week one - Lewis is going against the Steelers D with a line that is rebuilding...not a good formula for a big game.

Muhammad has the most upside as the third receiver and Smith just may be poised to have a nice season. Try the waiver wire in two weeks before dealing....you have time and you may get lucky if someone cuts someone too early & then plays himself into a key position on his real team.

Starters:

RB - I would start Peterson to begin with, but keep an eye on Lewis. According to those who've seen him at training camp, he looks like a beast. Only reason I wouldn't start him immediately is his age and the poor history the last few years.
**An update - I heard today that Peterson sat out with an injury. I don't know how serious it is, but obviously, that would affect who you start**

I probably would try to trade for a decent receiver, but they can be hard to come by. Of the ones you have, I would probably start Cotchery or Muhammed. Both have sketchy QBs, so it's kind of a toss-up.

As for TE , I would start Clark, no question.

Hope that helps! Best of luck on your league!

Lewis is in cleveland, and hasn't been productive last couple of years, go with peterson, I like Dallas Clark at TE, and WR I would play Cothery/Furrey based on match ups. base lean toward Cotchery most of the time, I don't like Muhammad with Grossman back there. I would look to upgrade your WR core somehow.

Your receivers are on the just ok side. You could try and find somone on waivers if you need to but I would really go out and find another rb somewhere. You have a solid number 1 but an iffy number 2. Jamal will be pretty good this year but peterson I am not so sure about . He is so injury prone and is already day to day in camp. Maybe find a decent running back on waivers and get rid of a 2nd team d.

I would start Lewis, Muhammad and Clark. I we're just wait it out and watch the waiver wire for some RB and WR help.

My cash is on Munich - With neither aspect in need of to deliver whatever away early on we will be able to count on a cagey commencing and few avid gamers being dedicated ahead by means of both crew. This would make for a stupid spectacle for the impartial fan, however what larger option to offset that than by means of having slightly flutter? Back the Half-Time ranking to be zero-zero and the moment part to have essentially the most pursuits. Fininshing two-two (Penalty Shootout - Win for Bayern Munich)
