She used it exactly once. If the word 'conspiracy' upsets you, let's just say 'plan'. Now if you think about it, nothing happens unless there's a 'plan' and the 'right', ever since they drove the Eisenhower Republicans out of the upper reaches of the GOP have had a 'plan'. That plan was to make the US into a corporate controled economic trans-national state with small or no regard for the rights of wage-earners or the environment. To do this they spent vast (oops..there's that word again) amounts of cash to buy the 'best politicians money could buy', enlist the Jesus freak right in a 'war on sin' and flood the public airways with right wing talk show shills to spread the word that the non-existant 'liberals' lurked in the shadows of America. This strawman enemy was their Emmanual Goldstein....an enemy that plots against every thing good, decent and holy...Big Brothers' sworn enemy. Leftists think they have a natural right to rule. They believe the "true" right wing consists of a handful of wealthy power brokers who dupe the masses into voting Republican. They cannot accept that it is possible that an average American can, through indepedent reasoning, be of a political persuasion foreign to the narrow world view of the left.

Here is an example.
What do you know about the investigation of Atty. Gen. Gonzalez replacing US Attorneys? Do you know why its being investigated?

It is being investigated because a lot of those US Attorneys were under pressure to prosecute Democrats who had done nothing wrong (the US Attorneys' investigations showed this conclusively) and to not prosecute Republicans who HAD some something wrong. And Amazingly enough, almost all of these US Attorneys were Republicans--most were even Bush appointees. They were simply honest prosecutors doing their job and saw no reason for the Justice Department to prosecute innocent people and let guilty ones go free just to further political aims.

That in itself is evidence of a conspiracy. Add to that the fact that the so called "news" media, if it reports the story at all, deliberately makes it look trivial, like some kind of empty political vendetta by the Democrats. Which it isn't. Why is the media corrupt? Because wealthy Republicans own it, they get to tell their reporters what to say, and the reporters comply. Why do they want to mislead the public? Because they want additional favors from the Republican President--even more concentration of ownership, free access to new broadcast channels, and yes the right to charge you for internet usage.

Yes, its a conspiracy.

The so called news media treated the utterly bogus impeachment of elected President Bill Clinton much more seriously than even Mr. Bush's absolutely reckless and unnecessary Iraq War which by the way has bankrupted the country and devalued the value of YOUR money.

Heres another one. Reporters for the conservative TV network discovered that an additive in a food you probably consume every day causes cancer. It has already been banned in Europe. They wanted to report that to their viewers, but the bosses of the conservative TV network (know which one I'm talking about? Take a guess) told them they had to shut up about it because the company that makes that additive is a major sponsor. The reporters sued for the right to report truth, but the courts held that employers have the right to force employees to lie. So you don't know what product you innocently use every day might be giving you cancer, do you. And I'm not going to tell you.

Here's a clue...the product is in something a loving mother might give her babies. Yes, the cancer causing chemical is being given to babies. And it is because of the vast right wing conspiracy you sneer at. Worried? Of course not. Smoking doesn't cause cancer, either. (J/K)

When something goes wrong and it's their fault, they don't accept the blame, apologize and move on.
