My mom says i have too much clothes... I agree BUT i don't wear half of it and my mom doesn't want to give it away. And i mean half seriously im not exagerating. I wanted to buy some back to school clothes (only 1 outfit) and my mom said NO, im not buying you anyclothes because you have too much... How should i convince her that I don't wear half the clothes ( that she won't let me give to charity even though i showed her everything i don't wear) and i should have some clothes for fall . Also i've grown about 3 inches this summer. She doesn't believe me. Thanks for anyhelp :)

1 sad thing.... The nearest plato's closet is 50 miles away....

I agree with tribe your mom may not know about platos closet and that might make her more agreeable to letting the old clothes go . and that way you could have money for new ones. good luck .

If the clothes dont fit you just through them on and show your mom they dont fit! But if they do fit and you just dont like then try and convince her to give them to a place like Platos closet. They take brand name clothes and sell them for you! That way you get rid of the old clothes but still get some money out of it to by new ones.

maybe make yourself sound responsibile and say you will pay for it. then just ask if you can go through the clothes with her and what doesn't fit put in a pile what does in another pile. if there is a needy family that could use those clothes suggest it to your mother...it will make things go more smoothly and will give a positive affect to it all.
