For a no-fault divorce, in my state it takes a year from the official date of separation..

It shouldn't take more than six months. If the other person wants to drag it out they can and it can take years and cost a fortune. It happened to me and I know others who have gone through it. It's very selfish if there are kids, because it can go on until all the money is gone.

Depends on what state you live in. I know in TX you have to wait at least 60 days after you file for divorce before it can be final. I would recommend that you check the divorce laws for your state and that should give you your answer.
